The computer overheats and protects it from turning on and won't turn it on

The computer overheating protection may not turn on due to the following reasons:

1. Cooling fan failure: The cooling fan is a critical component that dissipates heat away from the CPU. If the fan is not working properly and the CPU temperature cannot be effectively lowered, the overheating protection will be triggered and the computer will not turn on.

Solution: Check whether the fan is running normally, and clean it to remove dust and blockages. If the fan is still not working, it needs to be replaced.

2. Heat dissipation module failure: If the fan speed is normal and the fault persists after dust is cleared, it may be a fault of the heat dissipation module. It is recommended to replace the heat sink module.

3. CPU overheating protection settings: You can try to adjust the automatic shutdown temperature of the CPU, which is generally set at 70°C~80°C.

If the above methods don't work, you can try saving important files and reinstalling the operating system to see if it improves.
