Over- and under-voltage protection frequently trips and resets by itself

Frequent trip resets of over- and undervoltage protection can be caused by the following reasons:

1. Power supply overvoltage or undervoltage: When the power supply voltage is too high or too low, the protection action of the protector may be triggered, resulting in trip reset.

2. Protector setpoint is too low: If the protector's setpoint is set too low, even normal voltage fluctuations may cause the protector to trip.

3. Failure of the protector itself: There may be faults or damage to the protector itself, such as internal circuit failure, failure of the sensing device, or aging of the protector components, etc., which can cause the protector to trip incorrectly.

4. Load problem: whether the load of the power system is appropriate, confirm that there is no overload or short circuit. Ensure that the load on all equipment is within the allowable range of the undervoltage protector.

5. Household wire problem: check the connection line connection point, whether the wiring is loose, and fasten, and then check whether the connection wire diameter is too small, the wire diameter is too small, the voltage drop is also large, if the home starts a large electrical appliance, the voltage drop will be greater, the undervoltage protection will trip, and you can only apply to the power supply department to replace the large connection wire.

If all of the above problems are ruled out, it is recommended to have the protector inspected by a professional and carry out the necessary repairs or replacements.
